Social Choice
Social choice considers problems that concern the welfare of a society, composed of different individuals. It studies different ways of aggregating individuals’ preferences, opinions and so forth, and concentrates on the attributes of different methods of such aggregation, and their implications to individuals’ wellbeing, and to the welfare of the society as a whole.
