The Department of Economics at Bar-Ilan University seeks to recruit a new faculty member for a position starting in October 2021, conditional on the approval of a new tenure-track slot by the university administration.
We seek excellent and outstanding candidates in all fields, especially in applied microeconomics, econometrics, development economics, labor economics, macroeconomics, and public economics.
Teaching in Bar-Ilan is almost entirely in Hebrew. Therefore, applicants should either be fluent in Hebrew, or be willing to learn Hebrew and reach a level allowing teaching in Hebrew within a couple of years.

Short-listed candidates will be invited to give job talks during the months of November and December 2020. The job talks will be either on campus or presented via video conference, depending on COVID-19 guidelines in effect in Israel at that time
