Ph.D. Program

To be accepted to the PhD program in the Department of Economics the applicant must have an “A”/ “Very Good” grade on their final MA thesis exam, and either an MA or a BA in Economics.

As part of the program, the students will attend advanced courses in Economics as required by the adviser and the PhD committee. The courses will be assigned according to the research filed of the student. A student in the program is required to complete an independent and original written research that will express their knowledge and creative ability in their chosen field.

The Department of Economics maintains the rights to change any of these conditions.

  1. Transcripts from previous academic studies.
  2. The names of two people willing to recommend them.
  3. A motivation letter/personal letter
  4. CV
  5. Any other relevant material

Upon receipt of the information the applicant will be summoned to a meeting with the members of the committee, who also constitute the Department's Admissions Committee.
