Abstract

Agents are modeled as vertices in a connected graph. The opinion of an agent is a real number. According to the asynchronous DeGroot dynamics agents receive opportunities to revise their opinion at independent Poisson clocks rings, and when they revise their opinions they so by replacing their current opinion with the average opinion of their neighbors. Questions regarding this model will be discussed as well as some preliminary results.
