The Department of Economics conducts a wide range of academic and research activities, aimed at advancing knowledge and promoting research and scholarship in economics, finance, and capital markets. These activities include organizing academic and professional seminars, workshops, and conferences, hosting leading scholars and researchers from Israel and abroad, publishing in academic journals, and fostering interdisciplinary and collaborative research initiatives. 

In addition, the Department is committed to promoting academic excellence, developing new research areas, and supporting teaching and research through various academic and ethics committees and other initiatives.
